Virti Awarded The RCSEd Triennial Surgical Innovation Award

We are delighted to announce that Virti has been awarded the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Triennial Surgical Innovation Prize.

Virti founder and CEO Dr Alexander Young commented:
“It was both a surprise and a privilege to win the RCSEd Triennial Conference Surgical Innovation Competition. We have been lucky as a company as we have won a few awards but this one was extra special for me as I sat my MRCS at The College and also hold a Masters in Surgical Science from Edinburgh.. The compettion itself and the questions from the panel and president demonstrated that The College is at the forefront of innovation in surgery. We are excited to see what opportunities arise from the award going forward as we look to improve patient safety and help scale realistic training opportunities through the Virti platform."
